Are your Sims 3 downloads illegal?

My family and I had lots of fun with your Sims 3. We have all expansions, custom contents and patches, and it works pretty fine, without lag and flaws, but I was just wondering...

Is your website illegal? Is giving away the Sims 3 and the other softwares can put you into trouble? It makes me worried about it, since if your website gets closed by the law, I wouldn't be able to collect the latest Sims 3 stuff anymore... and the other users neither...

Could anybody in your team tell me everything about this ''giving away games freely is illegal depending on what, which, who and whatnot?'' I would be glad to be feeling safe on the fact that you shall not get arrested because of all the fun, advices and gifts you gave to us.

I think as long as the owners are out of US jurisdiction then there's nothing that EA can do. It's the same thing with TPB, the owners live outside US jurisdiction and courts have tried many times to find a way to shut them down but with no success.

I read in the Quebec Newspaper that the owner of TPB has, in fact, been finally cornered and arrested in august, in South America. That really scared me for the Games4theworld team!

games4theworld.org, and games4theworld.forumotion.com hosts nothing illegal, so there is no gain for EA or anything to attempt to shutdown G4TW, since they'll gain nothing.

If EA was interested in doing a decent job of having a better anti-pirating products, they would have probably require a confirm check on keycodes, and limit one use per each.

Going after Torrenting files is highly costly for anything, and how many The Sims 3 files are torrented makes it illogical for EA to go after any of it, Since they'll have to take down each of the seeders, which just searching The Sims 3 on TPB, there first 30 have 200+ seeders each, the top 15 have over 10k seeders combined, so any money EA puts into blocking pirating of The Sims 3, it would be pointless, since it won't get the money from those 10k people, and who knows how many more download and aren't seeding.

So there isn't really anything to be worried about, if we're faced with a problem, we'll overcome it.

So it's a 100% original code you can use to register on www.thesims3.com and to install the original base game via Origin. (Not that an original base game makes a hug difference - it makes no difference, actually - but OK)

Besides that, EA loves us for helping their customers! That saves them a lot of money and time (sending nonsense replies to customers).
