DO NOT update to version 1.42 of The Sims 3 yet!

As usual, don't update to the new version 1.42 of The Sims 3 yet, but wait for our Ultimate Fix to be updated and be compatible with this new version!
The new version of the Ultimate Fix will be released very soon, stay tuned.

DO NOT post any problems on questions in this topic, just wait patiently!

Really people! Do not update! Normally I can update mine with the temporary fix, but that one doesn't work right now! So if you're inpatience, DON'T UPDATE. Luckily I can wait =)

Since the 1.39 Ultimate Fix was released like 3 days after 1.39, and everything is done quickly, Thanks to Admin.

i free my day for doing this update, downloaded everything, and just finished updating while i read this

//EDIT

for the above mistake, i install nraas NoCD and run the game by TS3W.exe not with the launcher and it works!!!
Now i can patiently wait for the ultimate fix while my sim swimming at the ocean

That one is also included with the Temporary Fix.
Just DO NOT forget to remove the NoCD Mod when you apply the working normal Ultimate Fix!

I guess so, but the new patch add cool options in the game like swiming in the ocean, fixing some bugs, it depends on you , you can wait until seasons come, as for myself i cant wait

Yes you will have to update to the latest version to play Seasons, and I think it might be like 1.43 instead of 1.42, since EA might decided to do a test run with the patch for the stuff released in 1.42 and make sure the kinks/problems are found.

Since I think 1.38 was released like what 5 days before Supernatural, so that 1.42 is released like half a month before Seasons.

But above might be wrong, since why would EA want to be logical and do a test-run of new features before releasing a Expansion Pack.

Also, the latest manual patch should be included with the Seasons Torrent from G4TW, since the other expansions had it included.

awww .. i just downloaded the 1GB manual patch a week ago or so now there's another patch?
