I cant update my sims 3 to version 1.67.2

i have the sims 3 installed correctly on my computer and running well but i'm having problems updating it to 1.67.2 manually (TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update) it keep telling me that i dont have the game on my computer..!

i want to update it so i can install expansions

please help Help

It may be a problem with the patch itself, try redownloading the patch from a different browser, if you previously patched it before, did the previous patches work?

No i never patched it before..

i'm redownloading the patch from a different link i hope it works..

Please do not spam on here, instead use the "edit"-button if you want to add something to your message, and don't post several times in a row. We are here when we can, and I recently just returned from a 2-month trip abroad. If there is really nobody around to help you, feel free to use the search function.

As for the issue, where did you get the base game from ? Is the game from Steam maybe ? If it's from Steam, then I can't help you. But if it's NOT from Steam, try un-installing the base game. Then, re-boot the computer.

After re-booting the computer, re-install the base game and re-apply the patch; see if it works for you. Good luck !
