Reinstalling everything PLZ HELP Empty Reinstalling everything PLZ HELP

After updating to new patch game wouldn't start now when i use the sims 3 base game to install my exp i get the message " this game isn't updatable and cannot install this expansion pack" and i used the sims 3 reloaded game and when i updated the base game before downloading the exp i get "unknown error occurred" plz help me and yes i want to install all exps
