Can't Open the Installer!! MAC Empty Can't Open the Installer!! MAC

Okay I've downloaded the thing and unrared it and made the disc image (several times) and when I try to open the installer to install the game (which I am supposed to do before I apply the fix right?) and it won't open. I click it and it just crashes within a second of me trying to open it. I have no Idea what do do, please help me!!!
