CANT OPEN INSTALLER - PLEASE HELP[SOLVED]

Hey I've been fumbling around with this for a while and I can't seem to figure it out. I've never had this problem before but when I try to open the installer, it bounces on the dock and stops. Then when I click on it, it disappears. I know others have been having this problem too. Has anyone figured it out? Thanks

OKAY! IT'S WORKING NOW. 

You MUST use the stuffit expander! NO EXCEPTIONS. IT ONLY WORKS WHEN YOU USE THIS TO UNZIP THE FILE.

Thanks for these big red chracters! Lots of people are having the same issue although we keep saying loud that they need to use StuffIt Expander!
