Sims 3 Seasons Text Ballon bug

I am having an issue with the Seasons expansion showing up blank on the new content. I read a thread by the admin that I was hopeful would solve the issue but no luck:

I checked the registry to see if the language was wrong, but it looks fine. Also, I am not sure what the initial loading screen is supposed to look like for Seasons, but it is all white (no 'Seasons' or anything like previous expansions, just the loading bar with words like initializing fog, etc), not sure if these errors are related. So far I have reinstalled the patch and Seasons twice, no difference. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello,

Try backing up and removing this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\

If that didn't work, please provide the following information:

1. Your graphic card model.
2. Your operating system.
3. 32- or 64-bit.

Thank you for the suggestion with the folder, but it is still doing the same thing.

Graphics card is - Nvidia GeForce NT 520

Windows 7, 64 bit.

Nvidia GeForce NT 520? Do you mean GT 520? Since I only saw one google result for googling "Nvidia Geforce NT 520"

I just wanted to make sure the graphic card is supported by the update.

Anyway this driver update should be the correct one.

I have the same problem, changing the language didn't solve the issue, I tried updating the driver from control panel but still nothing Sad

I have a nvidia geforce gtx 460, windows 7 64 bit.

Hello,

Control Panel isn't the right way to update drivers.
We'd prefer it if you opened a new topic with your problem, that'll make it easier for us to keep track of everything.

Hello,

Please try the update and let us know the result.
Do use "Custom" and "Clean installation" during the installation wizard of the GPU update, if possible.
