Cannot choose family.[SOLVED]

Choose a household option isn't working. I choose a family, then i select play with this family or something like that but after that I cannot get into game. Game doesn't freeze it just looks like my command isn't there.

Just to be sure, try backing up and removing this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\

Well, navigate to this folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\ and make a copy of the "The Sims 3" folder in there, prior to removing it.

Yes, both Sunset Valley and Appaloosa Plains. Also Change Active Household isn't working in my saved games.

That's weird. I'm a little lost for ideas lol.
Lets see.. Try doing steps 2-4 on this page (again). That can sometimes fix weird bugs like these.

I applied Ultimate Fix and now I'm getting no disc found error for Showtime

Hello,
The no disc error is always caused by a missing crack, make sure you don't overlook the #crack folder in the fix, and that it's applied to the right folder.
