Mass Effect Not working

I downloaded and installed Mass Effect without problem. I can start the game and about 60% of the time will let me through to the character selection screen. I can can create the character but once the game starts and someone starts talking the game immediately crashes. I have done everything( downloading the patch, downloading the crack patch, and the map fix). I listened and booted the game from MassEffect.exe as admin and it gives the same problem. This is extremely frustrating and all i want to do is play it.


Also, my Computer certainly does meet requirements.( I run Starcraft at its highest w/o problem) If needed to know

There are some strange problems with our Mass Effect release. It seems to work for some people, but not for others.

I have done all the things in the link and i managed to start up the actual game but after about 2 minutes of actual game play, the game crashes on me. Not sure on what the hell the problem with it is.

Have you also tried the patching?

Yeah i did with and without the crack with it.

Is there anything i can change/edit/delete/add besides stuff in the binaries folder

What do you mean? The files you need to replace, are located in the "Binaries folder.

As in, i replaced all the files in the binaries folder and wanted to know if there is more i can do outside the binaries folder because replacing and adding files did not work.

Well, usually not, because all the files you nééd to edit are really in the "Binaries" folder.
