No snow interactions - Sims 3 Seasons

I don't really get what I am doing wrong. There are supposed to be ways to interact with the snow on the ground, right? Like build snowmen and have snowball fights?
If you are supposed to be able to do this, how is it accomplished? I tried clicking the ground when there was snow on it and all I get is the water balloon fight option. No snowball fight. What's the deal? Am I doing something wrong?

Is your Sim a Human or Suprnatural? If Supernatural, which type? I read on another topic (tried to find it, but will continue to look) that I think another member had a similar problem and it was due to being a certain type of supernatural. . . . assuming I understood it correctly.

I actually read that as well. Supernatural/occult sims don't seem to have the same interactions available as human sims.

Then they should be able to, I've had my human sim build like, 7 or 8 snowmen on his property. Is there enough snow on the ground? Try steps 2-4 on this page.
