invalid file found Empty invalid file found

hi!

i have installed the sims 3 base game without any problems.
now i am installing world adventures, that went fine untill opening the patches and updating them. when it's almost finished updating the first patch i get an error saying : invalid file found.
what did i do wrong?

Use the manual patch in stead.
