Invalid File Found. [SOLVED] Empty Invalid File Found. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Tue 26 Jul 2011, 04:10

I followed all of the steps off the ultimate fix, twice, and "invalid file found" still comes up after I update to 1.24, I managed to see where it stops and it said something with "TS3EP04" so I went to the generations folder and nothing was missing I don't think, and I've reinstalled it 5+ times without messing with the files in it. I've even reinstalled after taking out the crack from the base game, and it still wouldnt update. I'd like some help if possible :]
Okay, that's fixed, now I only need help with that problem -V-

On another note, I can't add riverview, do I have to update all the games? And would I update them by opening the launcher from those specific games?

//EDIT

Also, the screenshots of the generations, and base game bin file:

//EDIT

Also, I have moved the generation files from the ultimate fix folder to the base game, before updating, and it still gave me the "invalid file found"

Hello daftpunkalive,

Your screenshots aren't showing up.
Your Riverview problem is a known issue. Try this: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1224-how-to-download-riverview-for-the-sims-3-fix-update-16-7-2011.

Hello Shandrababy, if you could upload a screenshot of the folder you copied the crack to, someone may be able to help you. Please open a new topic for it.

Hello,

The "Invalid File" error is caused by misplaced original files.
Please download and apply this Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems and read the included "# Installation Guide.pdf" VERY CAREFULLY on where exactly to put which files.

Well, I ended up using a cracked update, and it worked fine, I had placed everything in the correct places, but that didnt work, it's solved now though.

Mod edit: Problem solved, topic closed.
