Sauna, Grill and Wood oven problem

Hello i bought my packs from ea store and the grill in the Japanese set doesnt work, only lets me do tricks but no cooking, the sauna has no options at all along with the wood fire oven, Iv asked for help of ea and come to a dead end. Please can anyone help, I have a store fixin my mods (documents folder) i dont know if im putting it in right or not. Sorry if someone has asked this before, iv been looking on the site for 2 hours and still end up lost Thank you for your help in advance x

Are you using cracked games, or legit games? If you downloaded your games and are using a crack, I believe you have to have the files decrapified before they'll work in your game.

right, iv found the fix, downloaded it and put it into my doc/sims3/mods folder in the packages file and it doesnt seem to want to know. doesnt seem to work. I use the sims 3 store items ligite and also the ones u down load off media files. Is there anywhere else i need to put the fix for it to work?

Did you read the # Installation Guide and follow all the steps that comes along the Store Fixes?

If so try again and this time delete the cache files

Right iv emptyed the catches as stated and have put the fixes in the mods (docoments) folder. wish me luck....Would it affect it as i use .sims3pack files and Package Files together? im not to sure what the diffrence is....And sorry about all the questions, im not very good with laptops lol x

Nope, it shouldn't affect nor make a different if you used both sims3package and Packages files, I do that to and I have no problems that my coffee cup is empty and I have to wait for the next pot to finish.

Nope still not working. still cant click on the oven or cook on either havent a clue why its doing it x

yup got it today lol even checked the date it got put up and it had todays date on it x

Okay, then I need you to tell me exactly how you install the Store Fixes.
And if you have any other items/mods installed too and where from and if you have checked for new updates and if they get along ect.

i did have mods, but i took them all out and re-did my mods folder so it was brand new. My game is up to date (so it says on the lancher) I went to the media files, clicked on the link which started the download. Then moved the file into my C:\Users\Ace\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages the only other thing in that file are the tester mods which is the no sparkle and no intro. The items i have problems with are the ones that iv actualy paid for of the sims store site which never seems to work. my patch number is 16.0.136.019017 its just done a new store patch now x

Well, for some reason there are a difference on Store Items, that you have paid for and thereby rightfull owner of and the ones that you gets from other kind souls, which are decrapified.
Don't ask why or what the difference is, be cause I haven't got a clue on that, but do know that it exists.

So to solve your problem with the items, you have to download them from G4TW's mediafire and then it all should be fixed!
