dragon age developer console

hey guys first off you are amazing and i love what you are doing.
i downloaded ur dragon age and had a lot of fun with it but id like to open the developer console and play around when i tried to change the "target" in the DAorigins.exe file i realized its the one that you had tweaked for the game to work. i was just wondering if you had already done it, or wouldnt mind trying to make a new exe file with the "-enabledeveloperconsole" command line added to end of the "Target" field.

Ok, I've edited some stuff. I haven't tested it, so please check if it works and get back to me with the result.
I've included an "# Installation Guide.txt" specially for you. If this 'fix' didn't work for you, please report back to me, as I may have an other solution for you. (Using a mod)

i clicked your link it went through a couple of advertizements then finaly downloaded but it was only 1 file labled Dragon Age - Origin and its an unknown file type so i dont know what to do with it now that i have it

When you click on the link, you'll be redirected to a page with advertisements. Just ignore that and click on "SKIP AD" in the upper-right corner of the screen.
You'll be redirected to MegaUpload, where you can download the file.

yeah i got that part but the file i downloaded is an unknown file type and theres no text document so i have the file but i dont know what to do with it.

ok that worked but now when i did every thing the text doc said to do the game came up with an error saying
Error: required white space missing.

If you are not the developer, you may need to re-install.

Ok, let's do it the other way.

Please download THIS file and replace it just like you did with the other .xml file.

Now, go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\bin_ship
Right-click on the "DAOriginsLauncher-MCE.exe" and choose "Properties".
Now add "-enabledeveloperconsole" like shown below:




Press "Ok", start the game and see if it works now.

nope same error message as before

shit. ok so it only works if i click on the daorigins.exe in bin_ship the desk top short cut and the mce file still coum up with the error message. and even if i click on the daorigins.exe file it still wont open developers console

wow im dumb,
so i didnt down load the file you posted last before i tried the mce change so i have no idea if that would work but for some reason the link says the file is temporarily unavailable

Please try to download the file again within a few hours. Without that file, you'll keep getting the error.

i got it down loaded and replaced the other one, same error message as the last one

1. Completely uninstall the game.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the game.
4. Do what I told you before:

thanks for every thing you have done to help me with this i completely uninstalled restarted and followed every thing to the letter unfortunately the same error for the xml file popped up when i tried i dont think i did any thing wrong. unless this cant work on v1.03

Did you update to v1.03? I think I read somewhere that this doesn't work on v1.03/v1.04.
You should reinstall like I said earlier, but then don't apply the update. See if it works then.

i just uninstalled reinstalled and tried with out the update and its the same error about the xml file
