Nostalgia
I just pulled an old machine out of my garage and it reminded me of the old days when hardware was built to last. Anyone remember the old 8088 or "IBM XT" (10MHz with turbo engaged ftw!) ? The hard drive is larger than a book I have sitting on my night stand, and heavier than my house (joke, of course... but it is pretty heavy). Amazingly it still powers on after probably 20 years in the garage. Now if I could just find an old CGA monitor....

Oh lol yeah it does ring a bell. Far far away in my memory though. I mostly remember those huge floppy's and that we (my sisters and I) always had to be careful with those things.
