PC to Mac

Hey guys. I have a pc and my friend has a Mac. Im not very mac savy at all when it comes to downloads.
I have all the Sims 3 games from gamers4theworld on my PC.
Can I take the same files and use them on the Mac? Is the instalation procese the same? And sorry if im asking questions that have already been answered. I looked through some of the forums but didnt see much. If the questions have been answered, can you please link the post for me.

I was going to use the same files for her mac that i have but im not sure if it will work or not and i dont want to mess anything up..

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there is a Mac installation folder inside the archive that your friend will need to use. It should be named something like "The SIMS(tm) 3 Install.app" (which will show up as an application on a Mac - if my experience with hacking/messing with my iPhone is any indication lol)

Hello,

The expansions will work fine on a MAC, but have to be made into a .dmg. There are a number of tutorials in this section.
The base game doesn't work though, your friend will have to download a different one, for example RELOADED.
