Control panel bug after installing Pets Empty Control panel bug after installing Pets

I installed Pets yesterday (I only have this EP and the base game). My control panel always looks like this:

I can't see any of the pets on the panel, therefore I cannot control them. I disabled all my mods but I still have this bug. Any ideas what's causing it and how to fix it?

Hello,

Would you mind testing the game with a clean The Sims 3 folder? To do this, backup and remove the The Sims 3 folder from Documents\Electronic Arts and start the game to see if it looks normal.
If it does, you can copy your saves, mods and downloads folders to this new The Sims 3 folder and play your savegame again.
