Sims 3 Store Fixes(Wood Oven Interactions).[SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 Store Fixes(Wood Oven Interactions).[SOLVED]

I got the Store Fixes from the mediafire account. Then when I went in to the installation instructions, this instruction confused me..

2. Open (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup and find a .package file called "ccmerged.package".
If it’s not there, unrar "ccmerged.package" and place the .package file in this folder. Never rename this package!

The file was in the DCBackup folder...the instruction doesn't say what to do with this package.

Disclaimer: I had to create a 'Mods', and 'Packages' folder to put the 4 files of the Store Fixes in. Is that where I went wrong?

Would love to create magic with my wood oven! Thanks for the help!

Hello,

No, if that file is present in the DCbackup folder, you don't have to touch it or replace it and you can skip that step.

Did you download a framework? The mods\packages folder doesn't work without the resourcefile. It's best to download a framework here so you'll have the latest resourcefile.

Also, I didn't get monte vista from the Games4theworld mediafire...does that make a difference?

Not necessarily no. There's no need to replace it with a file from our Mediafire account unless it's giving you grief.
