D.O.T.A. 2

So, Steam gave me 6 free copies of DOTA 2 to give to my friends. All my Steam friends that are interested at all already have it. So, I thought why not share it here!

The first 6 people to reply here, then send me a PM with either their Steam ID or email will get a copy. After those six, it's done, I have nothing else to give. I'll post when I've got them all, so that anybody else who sees this will know that it's done.

I'd rather have other people be able to use the copies than just have them sitting in my inventory waiting to be gifted out. Now that'd be a waste.

Meh, it won't be wasted even if no one uses it DOTA2 is a free-to-play game (which typically implies pay-to-win/pay-to-be-"good")

I thought it was a beta invite, but nope, these invites are for the game itself and aren't really needed

Oh. Well, . Might as well consider this closed then. XD I got it as an invite/Steam gift from a friend, so I had no idea it was just a free-to-play. If anybody really wants the invite, then I'll go ahead and still send it, but I guess it's kind of pointless.

I just did some looking around for the release date, and it seems those passes aren't completely useless. They're "Early Release" passes - you can't download it without one right now, but once all of the heroes have been released it will be available publicly. You can purchase the passes for $30USD... or you can get it for free if someone sends you one, so thanks again lol

Ohhhh lol So it is a good thing, for a little while longer, at least. Well, the offer is still standing then! XD Glad that's all sorted out.

Ah, I see. Never been into that kind of game anyway. Moderator Narong30 gifted me a copy via Steam, but I never accepted it.

Dota was awesome on Warcraft 3, I'm glad they're making it an official game!

I never noticed that on warcraft 3 and I just downloaded it and played it within the past 5 months or so.

I still have four copies available if anybody else is interested!

Honestly, I played my own copy once, and haven't touched it since. It was fun, but definitely too much reliance on team efforts, and the solo play wasn't exactly up my alley either. I definitely recommend it to anybody that is into that kind of game though.
