No disc? Seasons. [SOLVED]

I've followed the "must read how to install the sims 3 correctly" guide like 20 times and it still won't work.
I think it's something with the crack, since the game is up to date. I've tried uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it but it won't work, it still says "Please put in the Seasons disc" everytime i open the game. And yes, I have tried doing step 3-4 over and over again. It's just not working for me.
Please help asap!

Hello,
You overlooked the #crack folder. At least, I assume you did, because that's the only reason you'd get a no disk error after following that guide. Find the #crack folder in the fix, and copy both files to the base game\bin.

Would you mind showing us a detailed screenshot of the folder you're copying the crack to? We'd like to see file type, date modified etc on the files in that folder.

Hello,
Try to upload it to an image sharing website or use the one associated with the forum. Use the icon on top of the reply window that looks like a picture with a floppy on top, when you hover over it, it'll say "host an image".
If you have trouble posting a link, adding a few spaces next to the dots should get you around that and we'll fix the link.

That looks all right, but the file TS3W.exe(2) doesn't belong there. Please delete it and see if the error persists.

That's extremely odd. I keep looking at your screenshot to see if there's something I'm missing.
You are 100% sure your (base) game version is 1.42? You can check this by opening the launcher, and hover your mouse pointer over the base game icon in the lower left corner.

The dates on the other files in that screenshot seem to be incorrect, indicating you need to do a manual patch. Have you done that yet?

Re-download the manual patch from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v142-fix-manual-patch (DO re-download it and don't use the old one!)
Now, run the patch and let it update your game. After it finished patching your game - don't do anything else yet! - try to start your game again, via the launcher. What does it say?
And can you please post a new screenshot of the base game's folder after applying the patch?

Same as before. The game says that I should insert the game disc for The Sims 3 Seasons.

The modification date for the "TS3W.exe" is still the same, which means the manual patch didn't do its work correctly, or you did something wrong.
