seasons in action. [SOLVED]

Hi all,
I don't know if anyone has yet been able to fix the problem with the sims 3 seasons crashing all the time but I discovered a very curious thing which I wondered if anyone else had noticed. I thought I had cured the crashing problem by lowering the graphics and such which did not do any good in the long run so I uninstalled seasons completely and had been playing without it for quite a long time. Last week however, I decided to put it back again to see if any of my updates on the comouter had solved the problem with crashes but it hadn't so uninstalled seasons again. The funny thing is though, even after unistally seasons, I can still swim in the ocean and still have the carnival lot onboard and the thing where you can take snaps. Has anyone else seen this. My game is working perfectly. Just curious.

It was in the patch that came out before Seasons.

Before seasons, my latest game was Kate Perry but I never used that as I didn't like it.....Which patch are you referring to?
