Late Night installation

Hello! Just wondering if I really need to follow the pre-Late Night installation instructions if I bought the base game, and if I skip it, will it affect the Sims 3 installation guide posted in this forum? Here are the pre-Late Night installation instructions:

-1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 + All expansions.
-2. Restart your PC. (!)
-3. Reinstall The Sims 3. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS! 
-4. Install WA.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS! 


-5. Install HELS.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS! 
-6. Install Ambitions. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS! 
-7. Install Fast Lane Stuff.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
-8. Update the launcher to the latest version.
-9. Now, go on with the instructions below, for Installing Late Night.


* = This expansion is OPTIONAL!


Cos I'm not sure I want to uninstall everything and I don't want to install Ambitions.

Decided to download it today but I am definitely not gonna uninstall everything just to install this one.

I decided to install Late Night without uninstalling anything.

I just applied the crack from the Late Night folder just like the instructions saidand my game loaded fine with no problems.

I didn't do any of the rest since I have already applied the ultimate fix.
(Late Night was sort of a spur of a moment download.)

I'm going to try it out. Anyway, there's no harm in trying. I'm still downloading Generations so I have to wait a few hours to know if Late Night would still work out fine but thanks for the reply!
