The Sims Helpers needed, apply now!

Hello everyone,

As you might have already noticed, the Forum is growing and life is getting busier day by day. Let's be honest, we (Moderators, Admins, Helpers) can't keep up with all the problems that are being posted on the Forum.
So we're looking for new, active and ambitious "The Sims Helpers" (A new group that will be re-added soon)! The Sims Helpers have more privileges over "Helpers", as they can actually move/edit and lock/unlock topics. The limitation is that they do not have all the same privileges as Moderators and The Sims Helpers will only have these privileges in the The Sims (3) sections.
Here are the requirements:

- We're looking for ambitious people;
- You must be able to visit the Forum at least every 2 days and actually contribute;
- Respect for everyone;
- Preferably people who know some stuff about torrenting, downloading, cracking (Not making cracks, but applying them) and that kind of stuff (especially The Sims (3), of course);


If you think you qualify for the above and you think you can / should be a The Sims Helper on the Games4theworld Forum, comment below and let us know why you should become a The Sims Helper.
If we decide to add you to the The Sims Helpers group, I'll send you a Private Message after a while.

I would love to be a Sims 3 helper. I love this site and I frequent it daily. I am also very familiar with torrenting, and cracks. I've installed most of my sims 3 content from this site, and I love to work on solving problems with my sims 3 game play, I'm usually good at it. I don't have a problem with helping people or beng respectful to their feelings or frustrations because nothing always goes smoothly and The Sims at times can be very frustrating I know because I've had many problems myself. I'd love to be part of helping others on this site in return for all the help the people on this have given me!

Recently I've had more time to be online especially during the week, I would absolutely love to help out where and when I can! With the exception of the base game and one expansion pack that I bought, I've gotten my packs through you all. I also have helped friends in the past with installing and patching games that they've downloaded from you. I am a people's person and I don't get discouraged or frustrated while helping others. If I don't know something I'm willing to learn or ask others for help. My main concern would be helping my fellow simmers so if I needed to partner up with other helps, moderators or the admin for that matter I wouldn't mind at all. I am pretty good when it comes to knowledge of torrents, and cracks. Though I am still learning something new almost everyday.

I know quite a bit about installing this game seeing as how I've done it a numerous amount of times. also i know a lot about torrenting and i feel as though i can answer most peoples questions. I'm also really nice as well as i do have a bit of free time on my hands these days :]

Really, the only part of the forum I do most of my posting/helping in is the Sims part, so it'd be nice to be a more specific type of helper, and the added benefits of being able to actually move/edit the topics and posts would be nice.

Hi. I'm that kind of person that never buys games. I hate EA Games a lot (They were much better before) It's that kind of company that sells unfinished games (Chairs with 2 legs FTW) and also they advert in game.

I have a very big interest in games. I have aspergers and gaming and making music is my biggest interests.

I respect everyone. But not if they are assholes against me.

I know how to apply cracks and people say I'm very good at explaining stuff.

My favorite keygen is the EA Games multi keygen which I approve.

If you want to I could prove that I would do my best to contribute with helping.

I have in game experience too. so people can ask me about in game stuff. I have played all the sims games and I am familiar with all the expansions.

according to that I'm autistic. I love putting threads in the right places and cleaning up the forum. it's like a fetish to me to fix stuff.

Alright then. So I hereby officially apply too
My "qualifications" (if you wish to call them that way):

-many years of "experience" in downloading/seeding via Bittorrent - my favourite client being uTorrent; basic working knowledge in forwarding ports - to make torrent downloads faster. Lots of experience with downloading cracks and applying them to games .

-Some basic experience in dealing with software problems without having to call professional help, like e.g. deactivate "Data Execution Prevention" in Windows 7 for all your games and other software; deleting all Sims 3 cache files when updating your graphics driver; close unnecessary background processes and some others.

-Familiarity with G4TW's Sims 3 downloads and ultimate fixes.

-Familiarity with many in-game aspects of "The Sims 3".

On a more personal level I've helped some people in the past already and even earned a few thanks and positive votes. I'm persistent when things don't work out immediately and I'm ready to contribute regularly.
What I would consider my most important ability is to use unorthodox/creative approaches to problems, where possible of course. Make no mistake, I am not a computer whiz, but I make lots of use of good old logic (I know that sounds old school-like, but yeah, why not?).

I would love to be considered. I can do a lot of troubleshooting with the Sims, I know my way around computers, I have access to both Mac and PC versions of the Sims and their expansion packs, and I have a lot of experience applying cracks (not making them). I mostly mod Sims OBJECTS, like clothes, items, etc, I don't really dabble in the coding side of core mods, but I regularly visit Twallan's thread, so I can help people having issues with those, or those who might have a problem that can be solved with those particular mods. I'm online probably 8+ hours per day, so being online is very easy for me. I can't stand it when people are rude and disrespectful, especially when Admin & Co. work so hard to keep everything free for the rest of us, so it is not difficult for me to be respectful of others, whether I agree with them or not. I haven't posted a whole lot here in G4TW but I keep a very active presence on other Sims 3 sites and am learning constantly.

I have also been downloading torrents for a couple years now, and not just Sims stuff. I firmly believe that companies charge far too much for stuff, and games are one of the most overpriced things there are, especially when EA makes far more than the individual developers they like to buy out.

I also have experience using Origin, Steam, and standalone games from EA and other companies.

I was top of my class in English, so I will always write with proper grammar and spelling, barring the occasional typo from using a keyboard. Any instructions or suggestions I might give to those asking for help will always be crystal clear, so even if the person is using a translator, it will translate well.

I am already kinda expert with cracks, torrenting and dowlading, thanks to Sims series so there won't be a problem. Also, I am using both Mac, and Windows and I Sims 3 installed on both machine. I know how to deal with Mac problems, as long as PC ones.

Also I am following up the news about recent cracks/tips etc. from other well-known sites.

I download through torrent, can apply cracks, and tweak a little bit with systems to generate results. I love troubleshooting things. :-)

Admin, I would love to upgrade to Sims Helper. I am back full time now

Id love to help out. I learned to torrent from my dad actually (remember limewire anyone? haha) so ive been downloading and creating and cracking for a long time.
Ive got both experience making works and hacks and fixes for mac, and im running bootcamp as well so i can help windows folks.
Also ive got the added skill of being able to make custom content, decrapifying stuff, converting things for M/F and ages, making certain things base game compatible, etc.

*edit* also i might not have a lot of posts, but i do check this forum about everyday, read through it.

I also would like to apply to be a Sims Helper. I'm on-line everyday and regularly check the forums for updates and what-not. I'm adept at torrenting and have no problem at all in applying cracks and updates to the Sims 3. (all of my Sims 3 stuff came from here

I follow all of the cracks and tips from here as well as other well known Sims 3 sites. Love to trouble shoot (enjoy the challenge) and to be able to help out other Simmers would be a bonus!

I'm also very adept in applying and using mods from NRaas Industries, and if anybody here needed help with those, I would be more than willing to help them out.

I have no problems downloading and applying all of the SP's and EP's available from this site, and could also help a lot in that department.

I would do my utmost to help other fellow Simmers in the community. I have great respect for what you guys do on here, and am very greatfull for all of your hard work and devotion to this site!

Hi admin well illed love to be 1 of your helpers as i try and help people on here all the time im on here about 3 or 4 times aday and know alot about sims 3 and the issues with it and all that and doing the cracks. even if u dont pick me ill still try and help people in anyway i can still.

i would love to be a sims 3 helper and i believe i got what it takes and i will be able to visit the website 2-3 times a day i promise so if i get signed in ill promise too that ill help and understand everyone what everyone saying and im respecting everyones opinions, i wont make u guys disappointed

Well, maybe I should try. Let's see here. I know stuffs about torrenting and cracking. And I know how to prevent The Sims 3 from crashing and maybe avoid most of the freezes. I know a lot about The Sims 3 (CAS, etc..). I am willing to help others, and I browse the forum every 1-2 day(s), so that's not a problem. I am not a computer whiz but I am willing to help. I hope you can choose me as one of The Sims Helpers.

I would like to be one. I have a lot of hours to spare ( 2-3 hours ) and it's not problem to be a helper or anything. I dunno if I can say that I'm master at computer, but I've got a lot of computer skills. So I think this is a great chance for me.
