Game freezes after Stuff/Expansion Pack Pop-ups Empty Game freezes after Stuff/Expansion Pack Pop-ups

Like the title says, once I get the game up and running, it starts showing me the pop-ups for all the expansions and stuff packs. Once it gets to the last one(Vintage Glamour Stuff) it completely freezes. The music still plays, but no matter how long I wait it won't clear, and the only way to get out is to completely reset my computer.

I purchased the base game, Get to Work, and Get Together through Origin, so I've only got City Life(and everything else that comes with it) from Games4theWorld.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice; I have installed in the correct order(base game -> Get to Work -> Get Together -> City Life). The Sims 4 folder is located in program files (x86), and I have no mods, custom content, previous saves, or anything in the tray. I followed the install instructions exactly, and Origin is always 100% closed out of and isn't running at all when I start the game. I tried starting the game with both TS4 and TS4_x64.

I really don't know what else to try; I've seen this question asked a few times before and it seems like most people just didn't install the games in the correct order but I definitely did that right so I really don't know what's wrong.

Hello and welcome to the Forum @teadum,

Sorry to hear about that. WhatDidUJustCallMe?  For now, I can#t offer much advice other than what is written here:

Good luck nonetheless!
