Sims 3 crashes/freezes to desktop fix didn't work. [SOLVED]

Recently I got a new laptop and was playing Sims 3 just fine(I have all the expansion and stuff packs) until it crashed. I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del and pressed cancel to see what was wrong, and the message "The Sims 3 has Stopped Working" was there. So I looked up fixes, tried the DEP and Windows 95 Compatibility Mode fiixes and it worked for about two days, then crashed again. Also, I recently tried the ultimate fix, but still no luck. I was just wondering if there were any other solutions possible(and I'd prefer to not to uninstall the game, as it's a huge pain). Thanks!

I contacted EA Support via TeamViewer (Was helping someone else via TeamViewer, also with crashing issues - She even had the original/bought games) and their Support is - *DrumDrum* - still as crap as always. The person guiding me/us was just copy + pasting and didn't come up with a new, working solution. We had already tried everything he suggested.
EA has a very unprofessional support and it's sad, for such a big company to see them hiring ordinary people without any experience with the game at all. I don't think the person helping us ever played a The Sims (3) game at all.
Still awaiting the final result.

I have tried adding all the game's .exe files to the DEP before, but it didn't work either. I know it can't be a system requirements issue, becuase my laptop meets and surpasses all the requirements. Yesterday I looked it up again and deleted everything in the DEP and just added TS3W.exe to the DEP, and it's working fine now. Hopefully this will last...
