Package files showing "brown stripes" picture in Merlin tool.
So I've been using T$R's Merlin for organizing my pakage files and some of my package files only pop up with this stupid brown stripes picture. I have no idea what it is. I was using the Sims3package Installer to convert sims3.packs into package files for store items and they all show up fine; with EA names and descriptions. But I also used it for some dumb CC sties that only use sims3.packs because I don't like to use the launcher unless I have to.
Any thoughts?

Hello,
It's possible that CC doesn't show up correctly. I'm not sure if and how you can fix it though.

Oh well I guess I'll just delete them. It's only like 5-6 packages.

It may also be that a thumbnail image was not included in the package file to make it smaller as the game generates them anyway. Try testing the packages in game one at a time using the Mods/Probation or Mods/Test folder before deleting them.

Hello,
That's what I was trying to say as well, I see it didn't come across as it was supposed to. Should've said "doesn't show up in Merlin correctly".

Re: Package files showing "brown stripes" picture in Merlin tool.
Well I noticed that some packages had two pictures, and were only displaying the brown one as the default. Most of them were cabinets and counters. The ones that only had the brown picture, I opened with s3pe and looked at their innards. I'm not sure how or why but most of them were some kind of food files? LOL. Like one file was fried chicken...
