Game freezes at the end of loading world/town.

Problem as described in the title. Gets to the end with a tiny bit left of loading any world, freezes. Left for about half an hour and nothing happens.
Latest patch, fix done. Tried deleting the docs-sims3 folder. No mods or custom content installed.
Any ideas?

Done that and used Tune Up Turbo mode. Made the computer a lot faster, and the game itself boots up and loads quicker but it still freezes at the same point (a tiny bit from the end).

I have the same problem! I have installed a gamebooster as well, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

Was hoping someone could help out some more?
