Installing the Sims 70's 80's 90's stuff PROBLEM! [SOLVED]
Hey guys! I've got almost all of your the sims 3 games up to supernatural. I downloaded the latest stuff pack (70's 80's 90's) and installed it as the instructions told me.
First the game said that it needed a disk,
and then when I copied and pasted the two files to the crack folder again, it won't even launch. Please help!
Some info:
the "TSW.exe" and the "TSLHost.dll" that needs copying - I only have "TSLHost.dll" and "TS3W.exe" and "TS3.exe". I copied the "TS3W" (and "TSLHost.dll") but I don't know is it a problem that I don't have the "TSW.exe"?
I haven't installed the latest origin, as it asked me if I wanted to when installing the game.
Thanks!
//EDIT
also, I think I did a stupid thing -
I dragged and dropped the two
files to the crack folder, instead of copying them. I replaced the old
ones with these new ones and figured out they're missing in the program
files folder. so I copied them back from the crack folder to the
programs file folder - and then it told me "that there is no disc";
then
I copied again from the program files folder to the crack folder, and
then the launcher didn't react at all (I click on the icon - nothing
appears.)
//EDIT
okay - I can't really remember the last time I did/said something this
stupid. Just realized I copied from program files folder (bin) to crack
folder instead of vise versa, for some reason.
You can delete this or put it as solved!
