Game crash when using store content/other downloads

Hi!

Another problem with my game (again!).
This time I can't use store content (not the packages files) and sims3packs aren't showing up in my game so can't use them either.
Not a big problem, but I like some variaty in my game. I only download store content, nothing else.
I can't download other players worlds because they aren't showing up.
And even though they aren't showing up, my game still crashes.

I also have to remove the cache files before I play my game, otherwise it crashes to when I don't use downloads.
The game just freezes and I have to close my whole computer because the cmd - tab isn't working when the game freezes.
I don't know much of my mac, I always used windows.

PS: I use twallans overwatch without problems and the no-intro patch.
I would like to tell you something about the specifications of my mac, but I don't know where to find it. It's a recent mac with all updates from 2011 I think.

It's not about the specs on this one, Mac does not handle well Custom Content, specially CAS parts. The HAIR is a huge problem and that is what's making the game crash (usually). You should keep the CC to a minimum.

The mods are also a problem, so try uninstalling that.

And the specs are in the upper left corner, just click the apple and go to 'About this Mac'

Oh bummer, so no store content for me I guess?

About my 2 mods:
It's not crashing with both of them (luckely!). If it does, I will remove them.

Only a few objects from the store should be fine. Also, worlds are not a problem.

I can't install worlds because it's a Sims3Pack. They don't show up in my game
