sims 3 Medieval
I recently downloaded the sims 3 Medieval and it starts up just fine, gets to the screen where it explains the monarchy and what not, the graphics are a little jumpy, and when I go to create a sim, the game just crashes. The error pops up "the sims 3 medieval is not working correctly, windows is checking for a solution."
I downloaded the ultimate fix, even reinstalled and it still does the same thing. I am not sure if it is a graphics card issue or what, so any help would be appreciated.
thanks!

Re: sims 3 Medieval
you need to uninstall TSM.
Then install TSM again according to the instructions it again BUT do not apply th crack you downloaded with the full version.
Open the Ultimate fix folder and in the sub-folder /medieval/ copy the tsm files from that /medieval/folder into the /games/bin folder. Make sure you choose to replace (overwrite) the files if asked - don't choose to safe both.
Then start the game launcher (simsmedievallauncher.exe) and when the launcher open go to the update tab. Uncheck the auto update, and leave it unchecked. If it does not show the update there for the 1.2.3 version click refesh button and it should find the update then. Install the update following the TSM installation wizard.
Then copy the TSM files from the Ultimate Fix CRACK folder and choose replace to copy then into the games/bin directory as instructed.
So what you are basically doing is installing the base game but not the crack that comes with the base game - then following the Ultimate Fix instructions.
It does not seem to work to place the Ultimate Fix over the original crack files. Also, almost every crash issue and other problems were solved by the 1.2.3 version path that EA released as a fix for all the problems that came with the released version and so you really need to get the Ultimate Fix installed correct so that the 1.2.3 version can solve those errors.
You should find that if you install in the above order you will solve crashing .. Since I did those steps I have been running smoothly for many hours at a time - I have had the game open and playing without turning the game off for more then 48 hours now and no crashes.
Hope this helps you.

Re: sims 3 Medieval
I'm having a similar problem, but instead of crashing, the game doesn't respond at all whenever I click the 'create a sim' button. I've never seen anything like this. The rest of the game is just fine(as far as I could get). Should I try the same steps as reccomended to windygirl104?
Thanks for the hard work that already has been put in the game. =)

What Storm practically means is that you apply THIS fix and then follow the included "# Installation Guide.pdf".

I have applied the fix, that's why I'm wondering why it doesn't respond. It doesn't freeze, the music and everything continues, but there's no reaction. As if the button is broken.
Thanks in advance
//EDIT
I have unistalled and re-installed the game, using the fix instead of the old crack and I'm still stuck at where I was.

Well, then I think it's either a problem with your graphic card or with EA. I recommend you contact EA and ask them for possible solutions. I'm sure they can help you out.
