Updating Problems. [SOLVED]
So I've been trying to update the Sims 3 and I'm really having problems.
I downloaded the ultimate fix, and the manual update 1.50.
So I had all of my games fixed, and I copied and pasted everything correctly. And then I went back to my manual patch and clicked it. But I've been getting an error that says, " The setup has detected that no version of The Sims 3 is installed. This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed."
I also tried installing it from the launcher as it says, " A software update is available. Would you like to update your game?" But I've also been getting the same error.
Am' I doing something wrong? Is my launcher already at 1.50? ( I don't think so since it's offering an update.)
Help? :<

Re: Updating Problems. [SOLVED]
Well, I usually first apply the manual patch then the fix. Try returning your game to a previous version then re-applying the 1.50 patch. See if it works.

1st: I got it here.
(Thanks btw. )
2nd: I'll try that and see what happens.
edit: Problem, idk how to get it back to the previous version. ( )
Should I just go and reinstall everything? :<

Re: Updating Problems. [SOLVED]
Well from the sounds of it, that seems like the best solution. It will also fix lag issues if you used CC etc. Just make sure every Sims 3 game you have is download from us and follow the guides. You should be ok then.
