Mass Effect Issue

Hello, so I got mass effect 1 and 2 from here. installed 1 and had to update it to get it to run. well now it pops up with an "enter your code thingy" there is a code in the box but it is not valid.

The game IS installed. this asks for the registration code again from my email or box or card.. but says invalid. how do I skip this and still play or make it work?

Did you apply the "# Map Fix"? If not, please apply it anyway and then try again.

I had the same problem. Went in, did the map fix. (AVG thought it was a trojan) and it's still asking me for the verification code. Any ideas?

Hello there,

If AVG marked it as a trojan, the file was probably "cleaned", meaning it was made corrupt. Please temporary disable AVG and then re-apply the Map Fix. After that, add the .exe file to AVG's exception list and then test the game.
