Stuck Saving.[SOLVED]

What's been going on is that when I save my game, it'll actually be stuck saving. I never had this problem before and the only related thing I found on the forums was people crashing when saving. Just to help my case of not being impatient, I let it "save" when I went to sleep, came back the next morning roughly 8 hours later and it's still saving. Also I've been using Save and not Save As or Save and Quit. I would try the Ultimate fix but I don't think it would do any good since I just used it, although that was before I got University.

Update:

After trying again but using the Save As function I got the same result, but after closing the process, my save was gone. After I start up a new game and if I run into this glitch again I will see what Save and Quit will do, that is if someone doesn't find a way to fix it by then

Oh wow, my email didn't go off so I didn't notice I got a reply. But yes, after starting a new game it did eventually start doing it again. It did take longer than the previous and happened after I was looking for a new house too move into if that means anything. I should try moving and see if that fixes it in any way.

I just tried it again, and I guess it fixed itself? For some reason I had to reset my graphics settings/lifespan/free-will again but now oddly enough it's saving just fine. Now I just need to figure out how to fix my graduation glitch

It's fine, I think I heard that people who bought the expansion are also having the issue as well. Thanks anyway!
