sims 3 disk required!

Hello,
I have done what seems like everything to try and get The Sims to work.
I recently downloaded and installed Sims 3 Seasons and Sims 3 University. I put the crack in the correct place, in the Sims 3 bin folder.
I then did the Ultimate Fix, and downloaded the Sims update to use with it, and it is still telling me to put the disc in.
Please help.

You did not read the instructions carefully Here.
You do not have to patch or crack any of the games, all you have to do is install the games you want (but you must have one of the certain games installed which he lists on said website) and do not load any of them. What I did, was when you first actually start installing The Sims 3 it will have you update. That's fine, let it do its thing. Upon doing that, do not install Origin like it recommends and DO NOT run any Readme files or launch any of the games.
Once you've installed all the expansions you'd like, use the Patch they provide you in the link, update your game manually, then use the Ultimate Fix.
