University Life NO DISC error. [SOLVED]

Im still getting this error to insert the disc... it will not open at all for me. i've checked and I did everything as instructed. One the last step, I placed the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

HELP PLEASE????

Did you place the crack on the electronic arts/the sims 3/game/bin direction?
Ok if you do, then try open the game without the launcher, making double click on the TS3W.exe on the same direction I wrote.

Please stay calm, did you make sure to replace the files in the game bin folder with the files from the crack folder?

Yes, I've done everything as instructed.

This is the first time g4tw hasn't worked for me

Have you installed the ultimate fix?

Are you really really sure you placed the cracks? xDD

Try placing them AGAIN! from the crack folder of University Life
If it doesn't work Im afraid you must gonna have to download Daemon Tools and wait for somebody who upload the University Life mini image..

I've tried over & over to re-do the instructions.

Nothing is working.

I've followed the instructions countless of times and I've done the opening through the Game/Bin, keep getting a 0x0175 error. I've done the System registry thing and followed instructions in that, no luck.
If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Alright, I made a silly mistake of putting it in the wrong folder, so I CAN open it. I get the little video, everything but once I go to select a family it tells me to insert a disk. Hm.

Maybe you guys should double check as well to make sure you're putting it in C: and not Documents like I did. Major facepalm moment for me.

I've checked and rechecked, even had someone else try to do the installation instructions for me as well. It's definitely going into the right place C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin not the mydocuments one. Still getting insert disc error *sadface*

where is the admin

Are you opening it from the launcher? That was my issue but I got it to at least open by double clicking on the TS3EP09. Keep getting a blank message that has the options, "Retry" and "Quit" so the disc issues must be continuing.

My base game is downloaded from Origin... so the last step the two files go into C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and it worked for me!

Soo this issue is still happening with me... I do not have anything in my Origin file. Did all the steps, game is updated and still says to insert the showtime disc... help?
It worked fine before installing University Life.

If you didn't download your game from Origin or if you bought it, do the Ultimate Fix and re-install the manual patch, once you've done that make sure you've put the cracks in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
not:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\Bin

I had this issue and the reason being is that I didn't read the instructions properly...It worked for me! Good Luck

Wait, so if you have the base game bought on origin you can isntall pirated expansions on it? Will you also get banned if you do so?

Nope, I have 5 or 6 of the eps/sps, along with the base game installed through origin. There's no way for them to tell if it's pirated or just a disk you installed from a friend.
