I'm experiencing the same problem. The map appears to be all white but not when you click on a specific lot. Everything's working fine with World Adventures but not with Ambitions and Late Night. I don't know what's wrong. I hope he can tell me how he got it fixed. My video card is Nvidia Geforce GT 630M and it's updated. Thank you so much.

What are mods? Sorry I'm not familiar with it. All I know is I installed the base game, then World Adventures. Both were doing OK but not when I tried Ambitions and Late Night. Says "Unrecognized Graphics Card".

DO NOT skip any steps!

I tried doing this the first time I installed the base game. However, it would either give me a no disk found error or validation error. So I don't update the base game. When I installed World Adventures, it updated the game for me. Everything was ok even the graphics. When I tried installing Late Night/Ambitions, it would still update the game for me. I can open the game up to where I can see the logo of the expansion I recently installed. After the game loads I'm getting an unrecognized graphics card error and everything on my map is white, like glaciers.

First of all, we have to fix your installation, before we move on to other problems.
Read step 1 again, please.

Will it work if the downloads are from torrents?

Yes, you just need to make sure to follow the instructions carefully. We do recommend using g4tw torrents, but other versions should work too, as long as each expansion was installed by itself.

You're a huge help. One question though. If I install a new expansion. Should I do it all again? Or simply copy the "crack" from the fix?

If you install another expansion, it's recommended to reapply both the manual patch and the fix, as the patch can fix some errors, and it's best to do so before you even notice them
