Sims: Medieval no disk Empty Sims: Medieval no disk

Post by Guest Sun 17 Mar 2013, 02:40

I installed both medieval and the expansion to it directly as instructed, and I applied the fix just as it said as well, but still have the problem. I can't find the info file others mentioned as being a temp fix, and when I try to run the TSM.exe file I get an error,

Unable to start game

Service initialization failed (0x024e424f)

Does anyone know how to get this working?

Hello,

Can you please post a screenshot of the folder where you copied the crack to and a screenshot of the folder where you "grabbed" the crack from?

Well, figured out I put the files in the Sims 3 folder instead of the Medieval folder. I coulda swore the install instructions said to. But oh well, thank you. Having a new problem with it, since I managed to get it to start, I can't seem to load my save game. It loads, the loading bar fills then it goes back to the main screen to pick a game.
