Sims 3 University Life Freezes and goes crazy.

So I decided to start playing the Sims 3 again. I downloaded it, and then I downloaded World adventures. Somehow World Adventures detected it had been downloaded. So I tried to find a fix and ended up on this forum. The ultimate fix somehow caused both the Sims 3 as World Adventures not to start anymore. I guess I did something wrong.

So I reinstalled the Sims 3, got rid of World Adventures and downloaded University Life, as provided by you guys. Installation went great, the guide is very helpfull. Long story short: the game was awesome, I loved the University but all of a sudden the game started freezing. I was like: ah well, a torrent can't be as perfect as the normal game, but it started to increase and now it's impossible to play the game for longer than a minute. It just freezes. When I try to customize my Sim it goes crazy. All of a sudden the Sim is black, then it's invisible, the screen goes black.
I tried setting the options low, tried playing in windowed mode, but it just doesn't help.
Can anyone please help me? It shouldn't be because of my laptop, it's a gaming laptop and one year old
I'm also not a fan to try the Ultimate Fix, don't wanna reinstall everything again and lose my save files..

Well the fact that the game is torrented has nothing to do with any of these problems. (It really doesn't cause anymore issues than having a legit game, trust me, I've done both.) And the ultimate fix didn't work because you didn't follow the instructions properly. You need a game (expansion or stuff pack) that was released generations or later, as the way things were ran got a huge makeover at that point.

Are you using any mods or cc?

Try backing up and removing "Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3" and do a play test to see if the game will work. This will make the game think it's a fresh start, get rid of your saves, your caches, anything you have downloaded for your game. If it helps, then you can put your saves back in, and test those.

As you suggested, I backed up and removed that file.
Everything loaded quicker than normal and it was really looking good, but while creating a family, suddenly the sim turned all yellow and the screen froze again. This is a screenshot of my task manager. It's Dutch, but just look at the numbers, this isn't normal right?
