"...error during startup. Please see Log..." Launcher Issue Empty "...error during startup. Please see Log..." Launcher Issue

"There was an error during startup. Please see Log for more details"
And the launcher shows as version "0.0.0.0" behind the error message.

I started getting this after I updated my game to 1.50.

Things I've done:
- I have checked all the other threads with this problem, none of them worked for me
- The video on youtube posted by Admin did not apply for me as I have all of the games installed
- Checked the registry; everything seems fine there
- Applied the Ultimate Fix

Things to note:
- The game itself is working perfectly fine, no issues with it
- I have all of the EPs, and the launcher worked perfectly fine before the 1.50 patch
- The basegame, late night, ambitions and pets are the only EPs I've bought. The rest are from here. All of this worked fine with the launcher until the latest patch

I wish the launcher worked because I want to install more store content.
Do anyone have anything else I can try out?

If you don't get your launcher working, you could always use cc magic. It's an alternative to the launcher, as it installs .packages, .sims3packs, and can run the game. It can't install lots or worlds though.

I managed to insert one world into the game without the use of the launcher if I remember right. Very Happy
Thanks a bunch, I'll try out cc magic for now.

You're welcome Smile And just watch for replies. I just can't remember how to fix this, although I think it has to do with re-applying the manual patch.
