Sims 3 crash trying to get to University.[SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 crash trying to get to University.[SOLVED]

Hello, G'day,

I have finally decided to send 6 sims to University after they have become young adults. They all did the aptitude test and have gotten a scholarship to study their courses. Now The University loading screen comes up but it only gets halfway through and then crashes. I have tried cleaning cache as is instructed on this site and it still crashed. Before, I have sent a parent to the University and she had studied and made it back with no problems so I'm not sure why now it's causing a problem now. Is it because I send too many sims at once?

Thanks so much for your help.

I have also discovered that I can't travel to any other country (World Adventures installed) without it crashing and when I decided to save the family with/without the house to start over it too causes the game to crash.

Does it work for any of the sims if you do send them individually?

Yes, I have tried that, but the same thing occurs...it loads halfway then crashes.
