Sims 3: University Life Won't Extract Properly.[SOLVED]

Hi there,
I have searched through the forums and have not found any posts relating to the latest Sims 3 expansion pack, University Life. I downloaded it like I have with all of the other expansion packs in uTorrent without a problem, but when it comes to extracting the .rar file it freezes up my extracting program and causes it to not respond and then close. This means I have only half of the files I need to install the game and therefore it won't do it and comes up with an error.. I binned the .rar file and tried re-downloading incase something went wrong but it just does not want to extract. I had no problems at all with doing the 70s, 80s & 90s stuff during the same night so I'm hoping this issue can be solved?
