Error 12 is getting out of hand.[SOLVED]

Supposedly, Error 12 happens when the save file gets too much data in it for the game to handle. However, i created a brand new town and saved immediately after placing my Sim. I got Error 12. IN A BRAND NEW WORLD. Seriously, with the ammount of patches that EA has released, you'd expect that they would get around fixing this stuff.
Anyway, anyone has another way of stopping this stupid error? I have all expansion and stuff packs, and disabled memories (I haven't deleted the mod i used to stop them from appearing though).

How exactly did you disable memories? If the mod completely stops them, then awesome, because the in-game settings just disables the pop-up from appearing.

Also, if this happens in a new game, are you running Game Booster at all? If not, I highly recommend it. This could be your computer being bogged down by too many background processes using the RAM the game needs to use when saving.

I think it's Velocitygrass' mod. Such a masterpiece, it saved my game from that evil 12 too. I don't think mod is the problem, but make sure you have the latest version of it.
