Sim Invisible and game Crashes, Help! [SOLVED]

I re-downloaded sims 3(with all expansions expect for supernatural and seasons) a few days ago and everything worked fine, but as we know in sims all good things must end.

I just teleported my sim to a gig location and gave her the task of auditioning for a gig.
As soon as she changed to her work wear she became invisible.
(This has happened before in the past so I didn't think much of it, I thought I would just change her outfit)
BUT, this time she could not move or do any of the actions I gave her. I even tried teleporting her away from that area but she just invisibly stands there.
So I saved the game, which in hindsight I shouldn't have, thinking it might be fixed when I came back but she still can't move and is still invisible.
I tried to the resetsim and nothing happened and it crashed, even worse now the game crashes everytime I go onto that sim for 10 seconds.

I took off all my mods and set the game to run admin but it still happens.

I quit the game once because I got tired of its random problems, I don't want to again.

Please, any suggestions?

The game is running fine but my sim still turns invisible and can't move when switching to her level 8 career wear, she is a singer.
I do the sim reset and I can see her again but she can't work now because she won't move.

should I just give her another career or is there another way to fix this?

Before this happened I never did anything to her career outfit. After it happened I tried but she was invisible even in the plan outfit and I could not add another work outfit, because she was invisible and it gave no clothing option.

She got married and has a few days off, maybe that's why?

I'm not sure, but my sister actually played with a sim in the singer career. Although the sim was visible, she couldn't move the sim while performing a gig. A lot of people have problems in that career, so it seems that EA have screwed up there .

Then I'll just not go any further in that career then.

There has been no problems with the game all day, in fact it runs smoother now!
