Sims 3 University Life Neighborhood Selection Help. [SOLVED]

Hi, sorry i just made an account, but i looked through the forums a bit and couldnt find my specific problem. I do already have the Sims 3 base bought, but i was interested in the expansion University Life. So after downloading it from the pirate bay, i followed these instructions this site game, and i thought i had it down. But now i'm having trouble on the last step. I did get the game to work, (I can tell, has i dont have to play the base game with a disc) but when i click the University Life icon and it takes me to the Launcher to begin playing, for whatever reason in the Neighborhood selection the University Life neighborhood doesnt appear. First of all: in order for the "Ultimate fix" to work properly, you need at least ONE of the following expansions installed too: 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.

And there is no "separate" University town to choose. You basically start your game from one of your existing savegames, and then you enroll at university (via phone, computer or at the school). After that you then "travel" to the university town, and later on you travel back again. It's very much like travelling to Egypt, China and France in the "World Adventures" expansion.

You don't start the game in University City. After you start a game in Sunset Valley or what other town you have, wait for the University mascot to arrive, click on the basket it drops and take the aptitude test (you can get a scholarship if your Sim has learned some skills). Then you can use a computer or phone to enroll in university. This will send the Sim(s) you selected to University City for one or two terms (weeks).

Ahhhhhh, thank you both. Didn't realize that. Waste of a post i guess then, but thanks very much for that clarification.

. But again, keep in mind that if you want to use the #crack from "Games4theWorld" (namely the so-called "Ultimate fix"), you need one of the expansions I mentioned above. OK, happy simming! I will close this.
