The Sims 3 Not Launching after Origin Update. [SOLVED]

Earlier today, I installed Master Suite Stuff, High End Loft Stuff, Diesel Stuff, and Showtime. I downloaded the ultimate fix, and went to play the game. I downloaded the newest Origin update when I was prompted to, logged back in to Origin, and was then prompted to register my Sims 3 game, even though I already had. I typed in my base game code, and I got a message saying the code was already in use. So I tried launching the game from the application in My Documents, and I got this error:

Unable to start game 

Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)

I ended up going to Origin customer service, and the guy wasn't of much help (as I had anticipated o-O).. He did give me a new code for the game, but I couldn't register it, and then he randomly left the chat. .-.
I even tried making a new Origin account, but of course, it wouldn't accept any password that I entered.
I'm assuming that this is an error on Origin's part, but typing the error message I got into google didn't provide me with any relevant results, and I've tried everything I can think of other than uninstalling the game.

What I need to know is how to fix this mess.. is there a way to just make it so that the error from the application goes away or.. something? ;_;
I'm really just at a complete loss of what to do here. I'd really appreciate it if you guys would help me out.

Usually, it means you did a bad uninstall...
So keep your keys, uninstall everything you have, RESTART THE PC, re install one by one... Best guess so far!

Well, it looks like I didn't have to resort to uninstalling the whole
game after all. I talked to another advisor, just because I lost the new
game code I got yesterday, and he was actually helpful (I'm still
having difficulties processing the idea that not every one of them are
blundering fools )
and he registered the Sims 3 game on Origin for me with a new code, so I
can just start the game using the launcher like normal. .-.
It seems like everything I post on this site has a pathetically easy solution.. ehh. I apologize for being such a noob. ;_;
