I got out of loop these days due to work.. Recently just heard of a "revival" of an old favorite of mine...
Checked out a few screenshots, video demos and looks fantastic.. Will be out this March 5 was it?
Hope G4TW will be posting it in the downloads section when its out..

have managed to get hold of the new simcity yet admin to have a look at it

guys when you look when you get on the first page of the forum,the response this week is a little slow,so pls be patience,admin have said somewhere on the forum that he was looking into it but it can be diffecult,other groups had also diffecult to crack it.

admin prob put that meassage up saying there wont be back posting tell the weekend is because hes prob working hard on the game so chill everyone im sure it be out this weekend

Lol, I wish that was true, but most of the team members are currently (too) busy with their personal lives, so am I.

It would be better if they can crack it til there are sufficient updates on the game... I read/heard somewhere that aside from the server and connectivity issues the game has, the game in itself has a few issues that needs to be fixed through updates... Just take your time admin.. Good luck!

if just been and got the game had points on my points card at game so only cost me £30 and got fifa free with it so not bad

sure so far 5 out of 5 now the servers a fix and real easy to play the grafs are top qual so as a review ill give it 100/00 well worth going out and buying . and from the way the the game starts up first there be no way to crack this everytime it starts it dose a security check but other then that as i said 100/00 well worth buying

yes it would but theres no way to do it all the checks it dose when u start the game just wouldent be possible

I see lots of player that have the game and does not like the 'Always Online' DRM system... and i search the web and stumble through this Petition.. so any one want to join and sign the petition?

i signed it yes it needs an offline mode but as EA said they aint gonna give anyone it plus now ive been and got the game its worth every penny ands the best 1 so far no bugs no nothting

My friend got the game already and i try it's fun... but the reason i sign the petition is because the Internet charges are very high in our country (and Disconnecting every 5 minutes sucks >_<).. so it was a bad idea when i think of it.. well i don't know how other think of it.. ^_^

well mine dont disconcert thats an internet problem not the game and it dose tell u to close all other programes that use the internet b4 using the game

yh..thats why i think there should be an option to play Online or Offline like ts3..

yes they should but it aint gonna happen no matter what people do and what ever maxis and ea have already stated this

Today, I marched to the nearest video game store... The game's price is okay but apparently they were out of stock.. Looks like im not gonna own a legit copy at this rate then... -_-;

We've (the gaming community) actually found out that EA lied to us all.. Not once but TWICE. Firstly, Simcity HAS an offline mode already built into the game. (This has been stated by an EA insider who worked directly on the project). Secondly, EA told us that the reason for an always-online model, is so their servers can "help" our computers handle the load.. This has been fully debunked. It was later found that your computer (if it can run the game) can handle it ALL just fine, and that almost no actual gameplay is offloaded to their servers. So we've come to the conclusion that the only reason for DRM is to prevent it from being pirated. Although, given enough time & effort, this will be bypassed. So if you haven't bought it yet, just be patient, there will be a crack.
