The sims 3 CAS problems

hey,i have problems with my game while i'm in CAS,i can't write the name of the sim,i can't change the skin,the gender or weight....i don't know why.How can i fix this?help me please.

Hello there,
Do you have any mods ? If yes, go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and (temporarily) rename the folder Mods (for example : "Mods_"). This will disable all your Mods. Then start the game to see if this makes any difference.
