Sims 3 Problems

I've downloaded The Sims 3, Generations and Ambitions and applied the fixes. The launcher is still not working. Also, when I load without the launcher, Generations expansion loads up but Ambitions doesn't. Are they meant to be played together? If I try to load Ambitions I get an error. (0x039e8474) What gives? I've been trying to get this set up for my daughter for two days now. Can anyone help? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Hello,
When loading the game, the loadscreen shows you the newest expansion or stuff pack that has been installed. If you continue to load the game you'll find that Ambitions is in fact installed and its aspects present in game.
The launcher is a known problem, but you don't need it to work to play the game.
I don't think you've done anything wrong and your daughter can start enjoying the game. Please let us know if its working and don't hesitate to post if you run into anymore problems.

That error is usually caused by a misplaced Generations crack. Could you please post a screenshot of the folder where you copied the Generations crack to?
