No text + No sims! [SOLVED]

Well this is quite a stange problem. I've installed all the expansions (not the accesories) at lest 3 times now. The first time i followed the instuctions included within the download from the torrent. But by time I got to "Late Night" it wouldn't open.
I re-installed using the new fix (which helped a lot) but it isn't working either. I got no text and a mixture of English + Spanish (Mex) in the menus.

I read the thread where you suggested to install it in English. But so far that person isn't havin any luck either. The funny thing is that I got used to the no text bug, but now whenever I create a new Sim you can't see her/him! This is (as you can imagine) really, really annoying.

This images should give you an idea of what is happening. Here you can see that it says version 18.0.126.

So, should i re install it in English and hope it works? I followed the instructions really carefully, but i wonder what's with the version 18 thing...



EDIT: Afte a complete uninstalling and re-installing in English now it works. Followed every step from the guide to install correctly (again, but in English) and now the game seems to run better. At least there are no blanks and now i can actually see my Sim when creating it. It required a lot of work, but finally!!!
So I don't know if it was a language bug or what, but I'm not willing to re install it in Spanish anytime soon.

Thanks, for creating this forums so we all get answers. So far, so good. The only problem is that sometimes I get the Code Error 12, but that seems like a common problem and I have managed to not get it so often, you know? By saving often.

In any case, as I said before, the solution was installing the game in English. Step by step. And nothing else!
