Manual Patch 1.55 Link problems

Hello,

So I tried downloading the Manual Patch 1.55 from this link: http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/TS3_1.55.4.0220xx_update.exe

But, when I click the link this message appears:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to akamai.cdn.ea.com

I've tried downloading from Firefox, but there I get a message saying it can't connect to their server, so it's the same thing. I don't know if this is just a problem for me, or do other people have the same issues. I tried searching the forums, but I couldn't find anything.

I got the exact same issue as you! Busy servers? Downtime on the site, perhaps?

I have the same problem too, and I can not update in order to instal Island paradise    

I'm using Firefox and just now checked OP's patch link.
I am able to download.

Do you have any antivirus programs that may be blocking the site?

I have Microsoft Security Essentials, but doesn't matter since I found a torrent with the patch, so I've installed the game now too and everything is great
